WHICH STRIKER DO YOU WANT TO SEE AT ARSENAL?

The search for any real news involving the mighty Arsenal is a bit thin on the ground so far today, so I'm resorting to the world of fantasy football to help you lot engage your grey cells.

We should hopefully know by this time next week whether Emmanuel Adebayor will remain an Arsenal player or not, as the Togolese striker is due to report back to the club for pre-season training on Monday when the tour of Austria begins.

I think the longer things go on, the more likely it is that Adebayor will stay, but for purposes of this task, let's say he leaves and Arsene Wenger receives somewhere in the region of £30 million for our top striker. Who do you think Le Professor should buy to replace Adebayor with that kind of budget to spend?

As you'll see from our poll, I've given you 10 choices. Each of the players has been linked with a move to the Gunners and there are some I'd obviously favour more than others, but without trying to influence the vote, I'll keep that to myself to see what you Addicts think. And if there's anyone else that you think should be included in the vote, please tell me using our comments section - if it's a valid choice I can use Polldaddy's technical wizardry to add them in.

as afc need a one man creative machine who can shoot, doesn't need much service(our wingers do not inspire), and can score and assist and SCORE when it matters, aguero is the answer, too bad he's so happy in madrid. benzema is quality but not very pacy and does he ever score with his head(might be good for us as our crosses stink). whatever to the rest, they either don't fit in with us, or aren't that good value for the money.
