Your Shout > Adebayor for £30 million? Have Barca lost their marbles?

I can't be alone in thinking that Barcelona have gone bonkers if they're really offering £30 million for Manu Adebayor. But if Arsenal turn down that kind of cash, then we're even more guilty of losing the plot than Barca.
I know Adebayor had a good season, but does anyone honestly think he'll ever beat the 30 goals he scored last year?
And what could a master tactician like Wenger do with that amount of Wonga? I'd like to see him bring in Samuel Eto'o, a young proven centre back like Micah Richards and spend what's left on two or three players who he can turn into world class players

In contrast to MG above I think Ade is well worth the £30 million price tag. He is young, scores goals, works hard, was the second highest scorer in "the best league in the world" and for me most importantly has improved dramatically year on year and still in the view of AW has some way to go yet.

That said, I do not think we should sell him for anything under 40 million. The reason? We need to win something and selling our best players is not the way to do that even if it balances the books.

Despite the obvious negatives surrounding Dein when he departed does anyone else wonder if we would still be having these transfer problems if he was still in charge of transfers????

I gotta say GH, the constant Vieira saga, the Anelka saga, the Petit/Overmars sagas...they all happened when Dein was in charge.
